The Hostel Pampallacta ("m" is important as the town is Papallacta) was a cozy adobe hut with one water temperature – hot. I made full use of the fireplace to the extent that Chuga had to lecture me on carbon monoxide.
We're at about 10K feet elevation. You can see my breath and the breath of the pool. I put a thermometer where the water was coming in. It was 115 degrees.
