Trek to Turtle Mountain

New Years Day, 2022. Expedition II to the slopes

 of Turtle Mountain to locate the spring that is 

the source of our water.

Floppy the bull was looking us over with great interest. 

Holsteins ignore you but this guy I don't know.

At the Top

On the dome of the mountain there was a grove of trees
shadowing wide open ground cover

where we met Floppy and his friends again. I don't care who you are, it's no joy ride when they won't stop walking towards you. 

We were turned back from our quest by a heavily thicketed ravine. But we did see the other side side of the mountain.

Christmas Day Saunter

After two nights of deluge, we could hear the waterfall again. 

So we went looking for the trail to it. 

In conclusion, it will be easier to get there from above it.
